Depression can occur at any age and, according to the American Psychiatric Association, affects almost 19 million adults each year. Research shows that 80 to 90 percent of people who receive proper treatment for depression show improvement. Employees and dependents with depression will be contacted upon discharge from an acute inpatient or psychiatric setting for voluntary enrollment in Health Coach Initiative. Through the Health Coach Initiative services, you receive personalized, one-on-one attention with a focus on support and understanding, along with an individualized health plan and education specific to your needs.
