HMC Companies and APS Healthcare Announce Strategic Partnership to Deliver an Array of Healthcare Services to the Multi-Employer/Labor and Trust Market
APS Healthcare and HMC Companies expand Taft-Hartley Trust Fund relationship
HMC Companies, an established provider of healthcare benefits customized for Taft-Hartley Trust Funds and joint labor/management plans, announced today that APS Healthcare, one of the country’s leading specialty healthcare companies, will serve as its exclusive provider of managed behavioral healthcare, employee assistance program (EAP) and work-life services to the multi-employer/labor and trust market. This expands HMC’s existing partnership with APS, which is currently HMC’s exclusive provider of care management services, including disease management, informatics consulting and health and wellness.
Together, APS and HMC provide care management and behavioral healthcare services to 150,000 employees/members and their dependents across the United States.
The partnership positions APS and HMC to deliver a unique suite of care management and behavioral healthcare programs that specifically address the needs of the multi-employer/labor and trust market. The programs feature high-touch clinical models that are fully customized according to unique client needs. The partnership also provides HMC’s clients with additional opportunities for improving overall member health by offering the option to integrate the programs with APS’ care management services.
