Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Claims Submission
APS Healthcare, now accepts both institution and professional HIPAA compliant electronic claims through 3 clearinghouses: ProxyMed, The Health Information Network (THIN) and WebMD Envoy.
If you already use any of these clearinghouses, there is no need for you to test with us prior to starting your electronic claims submission.
APS makes it easy for you! Whether you are submitting claims through ProxyMed, THIN or WebMD, the APS payer ID is always 54160.
Claim Submission Guidelines
When submitting claims electronically to us, the following information must be contained with each claim record.

Tax ID Number - Please notify your APS Provider Services Representative of any TIN changes

Name of provider rendering service

Member's name and ID number

Member's gender and date of birth

ICD-9 Diagnosis code
-
Dates of service
-
Procedure code
-
Place of service
-
Type of bill for institutional claims
